Colemans Create and Craft Celebrates a Successful First Year in Business
Ashford's creative community came together over the weekend of 25-26 September to celebrate the first birthday of Colemans Create and Craft, marking an exciting milestone for the popular local craft studio.
Since opening its doors a year ago, Colemans Create and Craft has become a thriving hub for creativity, relaxation and community engagement, welcoming people of all ages and abilities through its wide range of events and activities.
Owner Chloe Coleman reflected on the studio's first year of success:
"I am so grateful to all of our lovely customers from the first year. I always wanted the studio to be a place of relaxation, social activity for the community and a space accessible for anyone. I never imagined we would have regulars, which is a lovely reality to have! In the first year we have hosted many mid-week solo painters looking for some mindful relaxation time, adult event nights, family event days, kids' and adult birthday parties, hen dos, baby showers and charity days. We have also completed trips to schools and care homes, and now have many Christmas parties booked for the festive season to look forward to! I am so pleased to have created an affordable community space that people enjoy."
Over the past twelve months, the studio has established itself as much more than a craft venue, becoming a valuable community space where residents can socialise, learn new skills and enjoy creative experiences in a welcoming environment.
Continuing to evolve and respond to customer demand, Colemans Create and Craft has recently introduced new after-school sessions every Tuesday, costing just £2.50 for an entire booking party, providing an affordable creative activity for local families.
Looking ahead, the business is preparing for a busy festive period, with a growing number of Christmas party bookings already secured.
