We did something…

We did something most businesses are too afraid to do.

We closed our doors.

Not because things weren’t working…

But because we knew they could be better.

On Saturday 18th April, after our final customers left, we locked up Coleman’s Create and Craft and made a decision: for the next 5 days, we go all in.

No distractions. No half measures. Just execution.

What followed wasn’t “a bit of redecorating.”

It was full days… and even longer nights.

One stretch started at 9am—and didn’t end until 4:30am the next day.

Why?

Because when you care about what you’re building, “good enough” isn’t good enough.

Every shelf, every display, every detail mattered.

We weren’t just refreshing a space—we were upgrading an experience.

And we didn’t do it alone.

We did it fueled by something much stronger than caffeine:

The love and excitement we have for this studio… and for every single one of you who walks through those doors.

Then came Friday 24th, 3pm.

Doors reopened.

And everything changed—without losing what made it special in the first place.

The soul of the studio? Still there.

That calm, welcoming, creative atmosphere you’ve come to love? Still intact.

But now?

More space.

More stock sourced from all corners of the world.

More reasons to stay longer, create more, and come back again.

And then we took it one step further.

Sunday at midday, we launched our brand new summer events.

By midnight?

7 out of 9 events had sold at least one table!

No gimmicks. No tricks.

Just a community that genuinely wants to be here.

That’s what this is really about.

From small children discovering creativity for the first time…

To hobbyists rediscovering it later in life…

We’ve built something that brings people together.

And that’s not something we take lightly.

This refurbishment wasn’t about changing who we are.

It was about becoming more of it.

Better space. Better experience. Same heart.

And if the last few days have shown us anything…

It’s that we’re only just getting started.
